What we collect
Generator Collection does not require an account, ask for personal information, or accept user-submitted content. Every generator runs locally in your browser — your inputs and outputs never reach our servers.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's localStorage to remember preferences on your own device — favorites you star, recently viewed generators, and recent searches. This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to us. We set no tracking cookies ourselves; third-party services we load (listed below) can set cookies on your device.
If you are visiting from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent notice is shown before advertising and analytics services load, and you can review this policy from that notice at any time.
Third-party services
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which generators are popular and how visitors find the site. Analytics collects anonymized usage data (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device type). It does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google AdSense & DoubleClick
We display ads served by Google AdSense. Ad creatives are delivered via Google's DoubleClick infrastructure (googleads.g.doubleclick.net). Google and its advertising partners use third-party cookies — including DoubleClick cookies — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites across the web. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or learn more about how Google uses data when you visit partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your rights (GDPR)
This site is operated from Sweden, and visitors in the EEA and UK have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation: the right to access the personal data held about you, the right to have it corrected or deleted, the right to data portability, and the right to object to or restrict processing. Because generators run locally and we hold no accounts, we typically hold no personal data about you at all — the data that exists lives in your own browser's localStorage, which you can clear at any time, and in the third-party services listed above, which provide their own controls. To exercise any of these rights or ask what applies to you, email bug@generatorcollection.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Sweden, IMY).
California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Google AdSense's use of cookies for personalized advertising may constitute "sharing" under the CCPA — you can opt out via Google Ads Settings. Children
Generator Collection is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change.
