Each week, whoever doesn't get assigned a chore is listed as 'Off duty this week' under that week's section. The rotation shifts who's off duty week to week, so the same person isn't always the one catching a break.

Assignments shift by one position each week, so if Alice does the dishes in week 1, someone else does them in week 2, and Alice moves to a different chore. Over enough weeks, everyone cycles through every chore roughly the same number of times.
